Security Guard Permanent Full-Time Position

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) 

Hourly Pay: $18.00 – $21.55/hour

Position Overview:

We are expanding our frontline team and are actively seeking dedicated, reliable, and physically fit Uniform Security Guards to join us across various client sites. If you take pride in professionalism and vigilance, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within a reputable and supportive organization.

This role involves access control, detailed incident reporting, foot patrols (indoor and outdoor), and providing support to tenants, staff, and visitors. Strong customer service and situational awareness are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated areas to ensure site security and public safety
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents in a calm, professional manner
• Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Enforce site rules, access control, and visitor/contractor sign-in procedures
• Identify and report safety hazards and irregularities
• Provide frontline customer service and respond to inquiries with professionalism
• Monitor security systems and radios, and communicate with dispatch and supervisors
• Support emergency response teams when needed
• Represent Base Ops Security with integrity and composure at all times
   

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (mandatory)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a security or customer service role
• Demonstrated experience in detailed report writing
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Flexible availability (afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays)
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
• Excellent personal presentation and physical condition
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflict professionally
