Supervisor security guard PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Security Supervisor to lead frontline operations across multiple client sites. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Supervisors at Base Ops Security ensure all shifts are staffed and running smoothly, maintain guard performance, handle escalations, and serve as the main point of contact for client relations and field operations.

You will lead by example, manage guard teams, oversee site compliance, and provide field support in real-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise on-site security staff and oversee guard deployment
• Conduct site inspections and performance evaluations
• Train and mentor new guards in Base Ops protocols
• Handle client communication and respond to concerns professionally
• Review and ensure proper completion of incident and daily activity reports
• Step in and cover shifts or respond to emergencies when needed
• Manage incident escalation and resolution in the field
• Monitor equipment, uniforms, and ensure guards maintain professional standards
   

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in security or law enforcement
• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License and clean abstract (asset)
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and excellent communication abilities
• Availability for rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to work under pressure and manage field teams in real-time
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
