Position Overview:

We are currently hiring skilled and assertive Tactical Security Guards to work at high-risk and sensitive locations, including critical infrastructure, high-value assets, executive residences, and special assignments requiring advanced situational control.

Tactical Guards at Base Ops are trained to de-escalate threats, secure challenging environments, and serve as strong visual deterrents to crime and disorder. This role requires calm under pressure, exceptional awareness, and command presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure high-risk or specialized sites through advanced patrols and surveillance
• Respond rapidly to security breaches or potential threats
• Manage crowd control, confront aggressive behavior, and de-escalate situations
• Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm panels
• Liaise with police, EMS, or emergency responders when required
• Document detailed reports on incidents, threats, and security updates
• Maintain peak physical readiness and uphold tactical posture at all times
• Represent Base Ops Security with discipline, integrity, and professionalism
   

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (mandatory)
• Preferred: Use of Force Certification, First Aid/CPR, Handcuff Certification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in tactical, enforcement, or high-security environments
• Physically fit and capable of handling confrontational or high-risk scenarios
• Strong observational, analytical, and crisis-response skills
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Availability for flexible shifts, including overnights and emergencies
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
